Glenelg Beach, accommodation with a difference.
Below, some more mosaic seating.
On Friday night (23rd April) we stayed in North Adelaide (Hackney). Earlier in the afternoon we drove right into the city to the Department of Environment and Heritage to collect information about our trip to the north of the state. One woman in particular was extremely helpful. We purchased a holiday park pass but we were still advised to check with Tourist Information Centres in the actual towns we were to visit.
Afterwards, we had a picnic lunch at East Terrace. While we were having lunch it started to rain so we decided it was time to have a break from the tent and booked into a cabin at Adelaide Caravan Park. It was on the banks of the Torrens River but I don't think that this was promoted by the park which was just as well.
Booking into a cabin was a godsend because it was another wet and very windy night.
Still, we managed to walk to Melbourne Street for a night out and had a yummy dinner at Wild Thyme.

On Saturday after we visited the Haig's Chocolate Visitors Centre, we drove to the coast to check out the beaches, it was so windy that we sat in the car to eat our picnic lunch. (Yes we did buy chocolate...if you've received it...you know who it was for).
I enjoyed your blog a lot. Thank you for posting such wonderful in sight. Hope to come here again and again.
