Bon Bon

Coober Pedy is over five hundred kilometres north of Port Augusta.
Bon Bon would have to be our next stop as it's well into the middle of the day before we turn onto the Stuart Highway after leaving the Breakaways.
Sigh...not really sure what I was expecting at Bon Bon rest stop but it sure wasn't around twenty caravans!
Sausages and corn on the cob cooked on the Trangia and watched another glorious sunset. Settled into the tent around eight-ish only to be woken at 2a.m. by a truck pulling in.
In the morning we chatted with the truck driver, he was on his way to Mt Isa with a delivery and needed to pull in for his scheduled stop. At least he didn't leave his motor running all night!
Can you see our tent?

Next morning up early, pack up after breakfast and head off once more.
I have never seen so many caravans on the road as I saw that day...all heading north. Sort of felt glad that we were going in the opposite direction.
Catch up on our stay in Port Augusta in the 5th of May Blog...Money, Money, Money.
Oh and by the way I've found another ten cents since that blog!
