Here is a Petrified Forest that isn't a petrified forest at all.

Sign at Cape Northumberland Heritage Park (Port MacDonnell).

We'd also been to Portland, loved the town.

Loved Port MacDonnell although I think I'd be worried in a tsunami...so flat that there was ocean debris on the road. Had a great cup of coffee at the Periwinkles Cafe, then headed off to the Heritage Park for some very interesting rock formations.
