Don't Rollerskate In a Buffalo Herd.

Almost sixteen degrees Celsius before nine this morning.  Cloudy, windy and cold.
Last night we watched an outdoor movie (Australia) at the caravan park, in the wind and cold.   Another Outback experience!!!  Poor Nicole looked paler than usual on the white vinyl screen.  What a hoot it was to watch a late arrival at the park drive past the screen!  Only in Australia.
After breakfast I went to visit the resident buffaloes, what doleful creatures they are.  Mister Buffalo was a reluctant candidate and Missus Buffalo was very protective of her calf.
***
Elliott:  Halfway point between Darwin and Alice Springs. (Darwin is not on our itinerary for this trip, nor is Alice Springs).
Banca Banca: Nice caravan park, don't expect meals though. (Hoped to get lunch-but no luck here).
Churchills Head:  Great detour which takes you nowhere, (well, back to the highway) spectacular views from the old highway.
Arrived Tennant Creek early afternoon, did a bit of a drive by of the town, stopped at the Gold Stamp Battery and plan to return tomorrow.

Let me outta here!

Gold!  Please explain.

Honey Pie playing the part in Tennant Creek.

I find the Tennant Creek landscape very comforting.
